Yes V.S. No Tarot Cards

Main Post:

Does anyone know of a good website that has a guide on which tarot cards are "YES" and which ones are "NO"? Sometimes, I do yes/no readings (for basic decisions). I'm a pretty indecisive person. I know there is a thing where if it's a reversed, it's a "NO". But, I want to go more in depth than that.

Top Comment: Oh this one is easy. Each and every card can be both yes and no. Piece of cake. The yes or no depends on the spread you're using and the other cards surrounding it. You see tarot is all about weaving a story with the cards. Each card has a yin and yang, to help clarify what the card is telling you you must look at the surrounding information. If you want a simple yes no, tarot is probably not the best tool. Perhaps attempt flipping a coin.

Setting a limit for review cards per day. Yes or no?

Main Post:

I'm wondering what's your point of view about setting a limit for review cards.

I my experience, an unmanageable amount of review cards usually come up when I skipped too many days in a row. If that was not the case than my new cards limit was probably set too high which leads to a lot of reviewing cards very soon after learning cards graduate. Old cards usually don't cause this problem because their intervals are much longer and more evenly distributed.

So what I ended up with is limiting my new cards limit to a moderately low amount (25-35) and set the review limit to 9999

Artificially limiting the reviews feels a little like "not doing all the reviews I should do" to me.

I'm interested in your opinions

Top Comment: The main/only benefit is psychological, in my opinion. For me, if my reviews start piling up, I just accept that I might not be finishing all my pending reviews for a few days. I aim to just make sure that I do some amount of reviews everyday, and avoid worrying about whether I have finished all the pending reviews. Deciding to just put it down after a while has exactly the same effect as just setting a review limit, except that you can potentially end up knocking out even more than you were originally planning to. BUT there was a time when I was still new and I didn't know what to expect when I got myself in that hole. Having a crazy number of reviews felt overwhelming, and it didn't feel like I was making any progress because I didn't realize that just being consistent for a few days, even if I don't necessarily clear the queue, would eventually get me out of the hole. I began procrastinating and avoiding Anki because that high review count became a source of stress. If I had known about the review limit feature at that time, I think it would have been really helpful, since the hole was getting deeper and making it even more scary to get started each day. If you're somebody who has trouble starting the climb when you look up and see how tall the mountain is, then setting a review limit seems like an excellent way to keep things under control. Instead of seeing the whole mountain, you just see the next slope you need to climb. But, I think if you can figure out a way to convince yourself not to feel overwhelmed without using a review limit, it's better since you can potentially end up doing more each day than you were expecting you could do.

One of these is not like the other.

In all honesty Kaku is a decent card, but decent doesn't cut it when card economy in this game is so strict. Only time will tell if 2/3rds of Trishula will make a big impact. My money (that I am not spending) says eventually, but not necessarily immediately.

KWEST Posts. Yes or No ?

Main Post:

I've seen a lot of controversy around KWEST going on here and in other subs at the moment. But I'm yet to see any real proof, it has all been hearsay by random reddit users. The owners have posted here saying they're legit, the users are saying they're not. What do you guys think? Should I ban KWEST posts?

If you have any proof of them scamming people, or if you have proof of them delivering on their orders, please post below so we can get an accurate view of te big picture.

Thanks everyone for their continued contributions to this small but passionate sub.

Edit: One of the KWEST owners is continually getting their posts removed because their karma is far below out minimum. If they post in this thread I'll approve it for all to see, for the rest of the sub it is what it is.

I was literally about to message you guys about this. I'm really confused about all this as well. I'm thinking we should stop allowing posts about it until we get concrete evidence. It's super easy for someone to post a pic of a gpu saying they got theirs.
